Friday 16th July saw the presentation of The Manchester College’s first ever automotive student awards presentation. The event took place at the Openshaw Campus’ automotive facility, and was hosted by David Spedding, head of automotive and engineering (adult segment). Didsbury 100
Students from The Manchester College’s photography and digital imaging foundation degree course are working with local photographer Len Grant to photograph 100 residents of Didsbury aged 1-100 for the Didsbury 100 project. The photographs will be made into a montage that will be permanently displayed at the new Sure Start Centre at the college’s refurbished Fielden Campus in West Didsbury. Lewis tops the leader board for plastering
Construction student, Lewis Greenhalgh, is celebrating after taking first prize in the north west heat of SkillBuild – the largest multi-trade competition in the country for young students and apprentices. Lewis, aged 20 from Dukinfield, is currently studying on the level 2 Construction Skills Diploma in Plastering at The Manchester School of Building in Openshaw.
