Guidance and welfare

We have an award-winning Guidance and Welfare Service and student support staff on each campus who are qualified to provide information, advice and guidance on a wide range of topics.

Whether you are a potential or existing student, we can offer you a comprehensive service that includes:

  • careers advice
  • advice on financial support and visas
  • help with any problems that might affect your studies
  • one-to-one guidance about any worries you encounter – personal or otherwise
  • assistance in arranging childcare
  • health and well-being advice

The college has been awarded the 'Matrix' Standard – a national quality standard for organisations offering information, advice and guidance services relating to learning and work. It is an important standard because it helps us to maintain high standards and continuously improve our service.
